Also doing the following running events:

Ok, here's my intended season. I shall be off to a late start as expecting an arrival in late May/early June that I'm told uses up a lot, if not all of your spare time :)

Bournemouth International (in at the deep end!)
Swanage Classic
Southampton Fast Twitch
Littledown Fast Twitch

Really gutted that I can't do Beaulieu Sprint (early June) as this was my favourite race last year. I recommend it to any new club members though. Might try and squeeze in Winchester Fast Twitch (18th April), but will have loads of studying to do around that time.

As for running, I've got Reading Half Marathon on 21st March (as well as somebody's wedding in the afternoon!) and I do The Great South every year, so will be joining Dan for that one.

OK, I am doing

Beaulieu Sprint
Bournemouth Olympic
Antwerp Half Ironman
Great South Run

I also hoped to do Bala for the 3rd year in September and get under 2h30, but this clashes with a friend's 40th party

I'm concentrating on my first ever marathon in April (on my list of things to do before I reach 50) so my focus is on endurance running at the moment. However, my current schedule is looking as follows:-

21st Feb Wokingham Half Marathon (paced run)
21st March Fleet Half Marathon (go post 1 hr 50m)
25th April Shakespeare Marathon at Stratford Upon Avon

16th May Salisbury Fast Twitch
21st June Marlborough Fast Twitch

5th Sept Newbury Triathlon
12th Sept Bala Olympic (unfinished business!)

I'll probably do the Club Champs as well plus some other 10kms later in the season.
