World Duathlon Championships Edinburgh

As competitors you probably wont appreciate the stress of a supporter !!!    My name is Janet, Brian's wife.  He has just competed in the World Duathlon Championships in Edinburgh finishing a remarkable Six in the world at  70 - 74 age group, and if you sawthe course.    Five laps up to Arthurs Seat in Holyrood Park on the Bike,  630metres of climbing and six laps Running 249 metres you would appreciate what an achievement this is.

It was good to see Janice Goble there in her official roll, and to meet Sarah Springman President  of  the B.T.A.  Lovely lady.  Enjoyed giving my hubby and Marius as well as the rest of the Britsand a few of the oppositon a shout round the course.     Janet.

Thanks for your support as ever, Janet, and especially on that toughie. Sorry we couldn't supply Southampton with any medals, but maybe Budapest will allow some.
